When a barbecue boat carrying laughter and joy slowly sails on the lake, the battery behind it serves as the "energy heart" supporting this water leisure experience. As the core power source of the barbecue boat, it not only determines the duration of the voyage but also directly affects the stability and safety of food cooking.

The batteries equipped for our BBQ2500 and BBQ3200 are placed under the seats. Regarding the specifications of the batteries equipped, it is recommended to use 65AH batteries. With two batteries, it can operate for 3 hours. The BBQ2500 can accommodate up to 6 batteries, while the BBQ3200 can accommodate up to 8 batteries.
For the motor of the barbecue boat, we use a 24V voltage and a 1152W electric engine as standard. It is powered by two 12V batteries connected in series, which allows it to travel on the water for about 3 hours. It takes 4 hours to fully charge. The speed of the barbecue boat is generally low. It uses a 5-speed switch. On calm water, the maximum speed can reach 5 kilometers per hour. Due to the influence of wind speed or current, the navigation speed may vary. The lower speed brings a more relaxed and enjoyable riding experience, allowing you to feel the romantic and leisurely atmosphere of barbecuing or gathering in the water.
Of course, if you require a larger motor, you can configure a larger motor and battery locally. We provide customizable motor installation instructions for the later stage.
Core performance: Balance between endurance, safety, and adaptability
When selecting batteries for a barbecue boat, it is important to focus on three dimensions:
Endurance: Depending on the size of the boat and the usage scenario, it is recommended to choose a battery with a capacity of ≥100Ah for a 5-8 seat barbecue boat, ensuring that a single voyage + cooking time can cover leisure needs for 3-5 hours. This is also the reason why we come standard with two 65Ah batteries.
Safety protection: High-quality batteries must possess overcharge protection, short circuit protection, and temperature monitoring functions to avoid the risk of electric leakage or fire in aquatic environments.
Adaptability: It needs to match the motor power of the barbecue boat (usually, a motor power of 1-3 kW is suitable). We have equipped a motor with a power of 1.152 kW as standard.
Maintenance and care: the key to extending battery life
Proper maintenance can extend the battery life by more than 50%:
Charging habits: Avoid over-discharging (charge promptly when the remaining battery level is below 20%), and use the original charger we provided to prevent damage to the battery due to unstable voltage.
Cleaning and moisture prevention: Wipe the surface of the battery with a dry cloth after each use to avoid water residue; when stored for a long time, keep the battery charge at 50%-70% and store it in a dry and ventilated place.
Regular inspection: Check the battery terminals for looseness monthly, conduct a capacity test annually, and replace aging batteries in a timely manner.
From family gatherings by the lake to commercial operations in scenic areas, every technological advancement in barbecue boat batteries brings more convenience and fun to people's water life. We choose the right battery for you, which not only ensures safety but also extends the "endurance" of your wonderful moments.
